ABOUT Studio zzzap

At Studio ZZZAP, we’re searching for the heart of being human in a world that never stops shifting beneath our feet. Our work blends digital art with immersive experiences to create a deeper understanding how our humanity is begin redefined through the lense of technology.

Projects like "Human Birdwings" and "The Modular Body" invite you to reflect on existence and interact in meaningful ways. "The Modular Body" was honored with the Golden Calf award in 2016, recognizing our dedication to pioneering new forms of interactivity.

In collaboration with the innovative hacker James Bryan Graves, we developed WINWIN, an experience designed to transform democratic dialogue in a polarized world. Our art is influenced by a wide range of perspectives on mediated experiences. While technology is a significant tool, it is not the focal point of our work; instead, it serves to illuminate societal, cultural, and personal narratives.

Our first venture into virtual reality, ROZSYPNE, tells a poignant story about the beginning of the war in East Ukraine in 2014 and the tragic downing of flight MH17. This piece premiered in the prestigious IDFA DocLab program in 2019, marking a significant achievement in our artistic journey.

At Studio ZZZAP, we continue to push the boundaries of immersive art, inviting you to engage with technology in ways that are both thought-provoking and deeply human. Join us on this journey of discovery and connection.
